Another lovely day on Thursday morning encouraged more exploring. Before setting sail on Tuesday, we had a full emergency drill with all passengers assembling at their relevant muster stations before proceeding to their respective lifeboat stations. The lifeboats look reassuringly seaworthy:
Some of the best views on the ship are from the tennis court, though one suspects that it could get expensive in 'lost balls'.
At least the golf driving practice area is well netted to minimise stray balls:
The well equipped gym is also near the top of the ship:
And benefits from similarly spectacular views, especially while on the steppers, cross-trainers and treadmills on the opposite side to this:
Also high up is another pool and bar area:
Since leaving the English Channel, which was very busy with other ships, the North Sea seems to have been relatively empty so the appearance of other ships, oil/gas platforms and wind farms near our path offered a bit more interest than the gentle waves. The SCF Baltica crossed our path about a mile away - noticeably closer than most ships we'd seen:
And that's about it for today - more tomorrow.
