Another day at sea

When we were clear of the fog again, the views were as spectacular as ever:
Charlie went for a nice refreshing early morning swim in the main pool, watched over by a naked lady!
Then a bit later in the morning, an announcement from the captain drew every passenger and most of the crew to the rearmost deck behind the pool where we found King Neptune and his delectable !! wife:
They'd been played in by a piper:
And quite soon we noticed that we'd stopped moving near a globe very similar to the one at North Cape:
This position we were told was exactly on the line of latitude that marks the Arctic Circle - a location that on our way north, we'd crossed at a rather anti-social hour during the night, but now that we were returning across the line at a reasonable time, the opportunity for some ritual humiliation presented itself.

The unwilling crew members who hadn't been to the Arctic before, were led (marched) on one by one to 'kiss the fish':
before being thrown, fully clothed, into the pool:
For those who really didn't want to get wet, an operation by Sturgeon-the-Surgeon was the unpleasant alternative. The compère kept the whole affair moving along well with an appropriately humourous commentary:
While the sizeable audience roared their approval. It's amazing that the boat didn't sink stern first with almost everyone at that end of the ship.
A bit further on, we were advised of an interesting mountain on our port side - what looked at first like a snow patch on its flank, was actually a hole right through showing daylight from the far side:
And another smart pudding for Wanda.
